Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at POIRIER NISSAN VAL-D'OR. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, adjusting and repairing parts and components, and ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer's specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify faults and malfunctions in automotive systems.
  • Adjust and Repair Parts and Components: Use your expertise to adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems.
  • Repair and Replace Mechanical Units: Effectively repair or replace mechanical units or components to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Systems: Verify that all repaired systems meet manufacturer's specifications.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance Service: Provide routine maintenance services to ensure vehicles are running efficiently and effectively.
  • Complete Reports and Provide Customer Service: Accurately document work performed and provide exceptional customer service to our valued clients.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess an Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
  • Driving Record and Valid Driver's License: Maintain a clean driving record and possess a valid driver's license.
  • Physical Capabilities: Demonstrate attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Tools and Equipment: Possess the necessary tools and equipment to perform job duties.
  • Personal Qualities: Exhibit accuracy, reliability, and a team player attitude.
