About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at GARAGE POIRIER ET FILS LTÉE. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, adjusting and repairing parts and components, and ensuring that all work is completed to manufacturer's specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Use advanced diagnostic tools to identify faults and malfunctions in automotive systems.
  • Adjust and Repair Parts and Components: Use your expertise to repair or replace parts and components, ensuring that all work is completed to manufacturer's specifications.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance Service: Provide routine maintenance services to ensure that vehicles are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Complete Reports and Record Work Performed: Accurately document all work performed, including problems encountered and solutions implemented.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner, providing clear explanations of work performed and estimated costs.
Requirements
  • Education and Certifications: Possess a Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
  • Skills and Abilities: Possess excellent manual dexterity, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Tools and Equipment: Possess a set of basic tools and equipment, including a valid driver's license and the ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle.
