Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician to join our team at POIRIER KIA. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, adjusting and repairing parts and components, and ensuring that all work is completed to manufacturer's specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify faults and malfunctions in automotive systems.
  • Adjust and Repair Parts and Components: Use specialized tools and equipment to adjust and repair parts and components of automotive systems.
  • Repair and Replace Mechanical Units: Repair or replace mechanical units or components as needed to ensure optimal vehicle performance.
  • Test and Adjust Repaired Systems: Test and adjust repaired systems to ensure they meet manufacturer's specifications.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance Service: Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Complete Reports and Record Work Performed: Accurately record problems and work performed on each vehicle.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Licenses: Possess a valid Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification.
  • Driving Record: Have a clean driving record with a valid driver's license.
  • Physical Demands: Be able to stand for extended periods and possess manual dexterity.
  • Tools and Equipment: Possess a set of basic tools and equipment.
  • Personal Qualities: Be accurate, reliable, and a team player.
