**About the Role**

Forge Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Litigation Attorney to join our client's team in Hamilton, Ontario. As a plaintiff-only litigation firm, they are committed to delivering outstanding legal services to their clients and empowering their team to grow and manage their practice with full support.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Manage personal injury, long-term disability, other insurance dispute, and employment law litigation matters, including drafting and reviewing correspondence, pleadings, trials, mediation briefs, and affidavits of documents, pre-trial memoranda
  • Determine the validity and scope of client claims
  • Perform legal research as required

**Requirements**

  • Doctor of Law (D.LL.) from an accredited law school
  • Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
  • 5+ years of experience in litigation, including motions, mediation, and discoveries
  • Demonstrable experience with litigation files
  • Ability to work proactively and collaboratively in a partially-remote team environment
  • Proficiency in English; French, and other second (or first) language(s) proficiency is not required, but an asset
