We believe in equity and individuality, and each member of our team plays a vital role in achieving our goals. We lead with curiosity, challenging our own ideas and limiting beliefs, while being open to diverse perspectives. We use evidence-based thinking to inform our recommendations to decision-makers and understand that long-lasting changes require practical collaboration with others.

Our commitment to responsible development and a 'tough, but fair' approach gives us credibility with decision-makers who set the direction for the planet. We're looking for a skilled Analyst to join our Equitable Transition team on a full-time, permanent basis.

  • Research and conduct technical, quantitative, and qualitative analyses to inform policy positions and recommendations.
  • Provide materials and content for external channels like social media or newsletters to the communications team.
  • Implement components of the program strategy to build community, increase awareness, and provide educational tools, templates, and ongoing support to the team.
  • Maintain constructive relationships with external stakeholders, representing the Pembina Institute in internal and external meetings as required.
  • Assist with securing additional funding through proposal development.

Requirements

  • You must be self-motivated and results-oriented, with excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills and high attention to detail.
  • A strong ability to research and analyze quantitative and qualitative data is essential, along with proficiency in software tools for data management and communication.
  • Prior experience with climate economics or similar economic analysis is highly valuable, as is experience in corporate sustainability, climate tech, or energy development.
