Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at the Winnipeg Regional Health Authority. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a collaborative interdisciplinary environment.

About the Role

The successful candidate will work as a Licensed Practical Nurse in our Long Term Care department, supporting clients/residents/patients in achieving and maintaining their optimum level of health within a people-centered care approach. You will apply the nursing process to provide comprehensive care, engage in ongoing education, and maintain competency congruent with our policies and professional standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver patient-centered care in accordance with Southern Health-Santé Sud policies and professional standards
  • Contribute to a collaborative interdisciplinary environment that supports quality services and staff empowerment
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
Requirements
  • Proficiency in both official languages (English/French)
  • Current active registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Manitoba (CLPNM)
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Demonstrated ability to foster a collaborative environment and establish positive working relationships
