Job Summary:

The Contingent Workforce Program Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing a global Contingent Workforce Program strategy that aligns with Sun Life Financial's Talent and Culture strategy. This role will partner with internal stakeholders, such as Talent Acquisition, HRSS, Procurement, Legal, and Finance, to ensure the program's success and alignment with organizational goals and Program Strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a global Contingent Workforce Program strategy, model, and process that aligns with Sun Life Financial's Talent and Culture strategy.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure the program's success and alignment with organizational goals and Program Strategy.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with external vendors, including Managed Service Providers (MSPs) and Vendor Management Systems (VMS), to optimize the management of contingent workers.
  • Design and oversee the end-to-end process of contingent workforce management, including work orders, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding.
  • Monitor and analyze key metrics and performance indicators related to the contingent workforce program, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Monitor industry trends and best practices in contingent workforce management, implementing innovative strategies to enhance the program's effectiveness.
  • Drive implementation of robust governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks to ensure adherence to all applicable labor laws, regulations, and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Seasoned experience managing a contingent workforce management program (in-house) or as a vendor.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing global CWP strategies and initiatives (MSP, VMS, global program roll out).
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
  • Experience with technology solutions (VMS, MSP, etc.) and supplier management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
