Job Summary

The Logistics Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the operational logistics of the organization, including planning and organizing tasks, coordinating activities with other work units or departments, and requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop specific plans to prioritize tasks and ensure efficient use of resources
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including tracking and reporting on stock levels
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless operations
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to team members
  • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports newcomers and/or refugees
  • Participate in a government or community program or initiative that supports youth employment
Requirements
  • College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
Work Environment

The Logistics Supervisor will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to maintain accurate records.
