Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Imaging Booking Coordinator to join our team at BC Children's Hospital. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for scheduling and booking appointments for patients undergoing medical imaging procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and book appointments for patients undergoing medical imaging procedures, ensuring that all necessary information is collected and accurate.
  • Communicate with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to confirm appointments and relay instructions.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of patient appointments, including scheduling and cancellations.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, ensuring that their needs are met and concerns are addressed.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare teams to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care.

Requirements

  • Grade 12, two years' recent related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to keyboard at 40 wpm.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
