About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Administration Officer to join our team at Rafat General Contracting. As a key member of our administration team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support: Provide administrative assistance to project managers and teams, including preparing and maintaining project documentation, reports, and records.
  • Procedure Review and Evaluation: Review and evaluate new administrative procedures to ensure they are efficient and effective.
  • Work Prioritization and Coordination: Establish work priorities and ensure that procedures are followed and deadlines are met.
  • Administrative Activities: Carry out administrative activities of the establishment, including preparing operating budgets and maintaining inventory and budgetary controls.
  • Reporting and Communication: Assemble data and prepare periodic and special reports, manuals, and correspondence.
  • Office Administration: Oversee and coordinate office administrative procedures, including supervising a team of 3-4 people.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Computer and Technology Skills: Proficient in electronic mail, spreadsheet, accounting software, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word. Experience with project management software is an asset.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, with tight deadlines, and with a large workload. Must have excellent attention to detail and be organized.
  • Personal Suitability: Excellent interpersonal skills, oral communication, written communication, flexibility, and reliability.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role. Permanent position, 34 hours per week, with a language of work in English.
