About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced instructor to join our team at HSE Integrated. As an Energy Safety Canada Instructor, you will be responsible for delivering and engaging students in instructor-led classroom training of intercompany courses and industrial-specific training.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver training in group and/or individual hands-on sessions, demonstrating in-depth knowledge and learning experience of course materials.
  • Build strong relationships with adult learners and/or clients, ensuring a positive experience before, during, and after the course.
  • Adhere to guidelines governing course content, practical scenarios, and document control as outlined in the instructor course certification process and HSE Integrated training policy.
  • Perform scheduled inventory of supplies and/or assets of training materials and maintain the equipment and classroom environment.
  • Provide feedback on course content/delivery and methods to improve the overall participant experience.

Requirements

  • Proficient in MS Office applications and ability to operate and maintain classroom assets.
  • Demonstrates attention to detail with focus on overall implementation and follow-through of assigned tasks.
  • Professional with clear communication, organization, and presentation skills.
  • Demonstrate professionalism while representing HSE Integrated (attire, language, conduct, attitude, and behavior).
  • Previous industry-related experience and pre-existing certifications to instruct courses (e.g., H2S Alive) must be valid at the time of application.

Preferred Certifications & Training

  • H2S Alive
  • Standard 1st Aid/CPR
  • Valid Clean Driver License
  • Successful completion of the HSE Train the Trainer upon hire
  • HSE Driving program
  • Successful completion with proof of instructional auditing of the following Energy Safety Canada (ESC) courses:
  • Firewatch
  • Fall Protection
  • Confined Space Entry and Monitor
  • Coordinator/instructional training
