Job Summary:

The Wolf Creek School Division is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Educational Assistant to join our team. As an Educational Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students with complex needs in an inclusive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work one-on-one with students in a variety of programs to provide academic and behavioral support
  • Develop and implement individualized learning plans to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with teachers and other support staff to ensure a cohesive and effective learning environment
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, promoting a positive and inclusive classroom culture
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff to ensure seamless transitions and support

Requirements:

  • Experience working with students with complex needs is considered an asset
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality
  • Flexibility to work in a variety of programs and settings
