Network Development Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure Specialist

About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Network Development Engineer to join our team at Amazon Web Services Canada, Inc. - D46. As a key member of our infrastructure team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and scaling our network infrastructure to meet the demands of our customers.
As a Cloud Infrastructure Specialist, you will work closely with our internal teams to deliver high-quality solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will be responsible for deploying datacenter network infrastructure across our network fabrics that support various AWS services, including Amazon Retail and Kindle.
With a strong background in major internet routing protocols and Linux/Unix environments, you will drive scaling of current network designs to meet customer demand. Your expertise in automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell, and/or Perl will enable you to create simple, repetitive deployment processes that increase both velocity and quality.
You will also work closely with our automation teams to define tools that allow us to scale at unprecedented volume. Additionally, you will draft scripts for automating configuration and other tasks.
We offer a competitive salary of $180,000 per annum, plus benefits and a comprehensive compensation package.
