Electrical and Automation Specialist

Axine Water Technologies is at the forefront of electrochemical oxidation technology, dedicated to establishing a new industry standard for cost-effective destruction of per and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS), pharmaceuticals, solvents, and other persistent organic contaminants.
We are seeking an exceptional Electrical and Automation Specialist to join our team in Richmond, BC. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing electrical and automation systems for our containerized water treatment solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop electrical design specifications for single line diagrams, electrical load lists, and cable lists.
- Collaborate with process engineers on control narrative and shutdown key documentation.
- Program PLCs predominantly for Siemens-based control systems and assist with HMI development in Ignition.
- Assist in the development of Axine's remote-monitoring Network Operations Center (NOC) platform.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent technologist diploma with ability to seal drawings.
- Professional designation: P.Eng or ASTTBC.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience with process facilities/water treatment plants or other relevant multi-disciplinary projects.
- Proficient in Siemens and Click PLC Ladder Logic, SFC, C-More, VTScada, and Ignition HMI, SQL DB, AutoCAD, MS Office, and Industrial Networking.
This role offers a competitive compensation range of $90-120K, depending on experience, as well as a comprehensive benefits package and vacation time.
