In this hybrid role, if you're based in Richmond, Canada, you'll have the flexibility to work from home and our office.
Job Description:- Design and Develop Automated Test Scripts: Create and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to support software application testing.
- Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize test cases for automation, ensuring maximum test coverage and efficiency.
- Execute and Analyze Automated Tests: Execute and analyze automated test results, identifying defects, and working closely with development teams for timely resolution.
- Improve Automation Processes: Continuously enhance the automation testing process, tools, and techniques to increase efficiency, accuracy, and effectiveness.
- Mentor Junior Quality Engineers: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior quality engineers on automation testing best practices and methodologies.
This role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as proficiency in test automation frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright.
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of automation experience
- 5+ years of experience in Test Automation, QA, or software development
- 3+ years of experience in developing test automation with JavaScript/TypeScript/Node
- 2+ years of experience using API testing tools like Postman
- 2+ years of experience in developing automation solutions in GCP or another cloud platform
- 2+ years of experience with git
Preferred Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
- Background in computer science or related field
