Job Summary:

We are seeking a certified music therapist to join our team at Julia's Place Music Therapy Center. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in music therapy, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities:

- Provide music therapy sessions and specialized music recreation programs for clients of diverse ages and abilities
- Develop and implement music therapy programs tailored to meet the unique needs of each client
- Maintain accurate records of client sessions and progress
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of new programs and services

Requirements:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Music Therapy
- Certification in Music Therapy (MTA) or soon
- Valid Neurologic Music Therapy training
- Strong musical skills and ability to work with clients of diverse ages and abilities

Working Conditions:

- Lifting and transportation of instruments
- May be required to provide hand-over-hand assistance to clients
- Some clients may have unpredictable behaviors
