About the Job:We are seeking an experienced culinary professional to manage kitchen operations, lead a team, and maintain high-quality food standards. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for planning menus, estimating food requirements, requisitioning supplies, and training staff in food preparation and handling.
Key Responsibilities:- Menu Planning and Preparation: Develop and implement menu plans that meet customer demands and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Team Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring they meet performance expectations and adhere to company policies.
- Sourcing and Procurement: Source high-quality ingredients and equipment while maintaining cost-effectiveness.
- Culinary Operations: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year in a related role.
- Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods; Vietnamese cuisine knowledge; and excellent communication skills.
The estimated salary for this position is $25-$35 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Our company offers a range of benefits, including on-the-job training tailored to youth, mentorship opportunities, and a permanent employment contract.
