Job Title: Brewmaster

Morton and Cage Distillers Inc is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Brewmaster to join our team. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for overseeing the brewing process, ensuring the highest quality of our products, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement production schedules and duty assignments to ensure optimal brewery performance.
  • Evaluate daily operations and make adjustments as needed to maintain efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure timely ordering of raw materials and supplies.
  • Plan and organize daily operations, including brewing, packaging, and quality control.
  • Develop and implement equipment maintenance schedules and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
  • Direct quality control inspections and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Hire, train, and supervise a team of brewery staff, including brewers, packers, and quality control specialists.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement process improvements and cost-saving initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in a brewery or distillery environment.
  • Proven track record of success in a leadership role, with experience in production management, quality control, and team supervision.
  • Strong knowledge of brewing and distillation processes, including fermentation, brewing, and packaging.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on safety, quality, and efficiency.
