Food Service Manager

Barakah Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our food service team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, including supervising staff, managing inventory, and maintaining high standards of quality and customer service.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, including training and development.
- Manage inventory and supplies, including requisitioning and ordering.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure efficient service delivery.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation.
- Hire and manage food service staff.
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
- Prepare budget and cost estimates.
- Address customer complaints and concerns.
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
- Prepare food order summaries for the chef.
- 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a food service environment.
- College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
