Swift Accounting Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join our team.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to maintain accurate financial records, prepare financial statements, and perform various accounting tasks. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities- Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including general ledgers and financial statements.
- Accounting Tasks: Prepare cheques for payroll, calculate fixed assets and depreciation, and post journal entries.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports, including trial balances and reconciliations.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all tax regulations.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Accurate: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and respond to client inquiries in a timely manner.
- Dependability: Meet deadlines and deliver high-quality work products.
- Efficient Interpersonal Skills: Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Excellent Oral Communication: Communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.
- Excellent Written Communication: Prepare clear and concise written reports and correspondence.
