About the Role

BMO is seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Specialist to join our team. As a Mortgage Specialist, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and building strong relationships with our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with our customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their financial goals.
  • Mortgage Sales: Sell mortgage products and services to our customers, ensuring that they receive the best possible solutions for their needs.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales teams, product specialists, and customer service representatives, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies, including anti-money laundering and know-your-customer requirements.
Requirements
  • Experience: 3-5 years of experience in mortgage sales, business development, or a related field.
  • Education: Post-secondary degree in a related field, such as business, finance, or marketing.
  • Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders. Proficiency in sales and marketing principles, with a strong understanding of the mortgage industry and its trends.
