Job Title: Glazier

Acara Glass & Aluminum Ltd. is seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team. As a Glazier, you will be responsible for installing and repairing glass and other materials in various settings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each job
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to fit specific requirements
  • Position and secure panes in frames, ensuring proper alignment and sealing
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products
  • Assemble, erect, and dismantle scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment as needed
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to ensure accurate installation
  • Fabricate and fit sheet metal parts as required
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in glazing or a related field
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Physical stamina to lift and maneuver heavy materials
