Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team at Acara Glass & Aluminum Ltd. As a key member of our installation team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality glass installations for our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Determine the type of glass, frames, and materials required for each installation
  • Measure, mark, and cut glass to precise specifications
  • Position and secure panes in frames with attention to detail
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass, mirrors, or glass products with precision
  • Operate scaffolding, rigging, and hoisting equipment safely and efficiently
  • Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, and specifications to ensure accurate installations
  • Fabricate and install sheet metal parts as required
Requirements
  • Valid driver's license for transportation to job sites
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality control skills
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy materials (over 45 kg/100 lbs)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Availability for regular working hours (32 hours/week)
