Job Title: Glazier

We are seeking a skilled Glazier to join our team at Acara Glass & Aluminum Ltd.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and repairing glass and other materials in various settings. This includes determining the type of glass and materials required, measuring and cutting glass, and assembling and installing prefabricated glass products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine the type of glass and materials required for each job
  • Measure and cut glass to the required specifications
  • Assemble and install prefabricated glass products
  • Position and secure panes in frames
  • Read and interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Fit and join sheet metal parts
Requirements:
  • 5 years or more of experience in the glazing industry
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects (over 45 kg/100 lbs)
