About the Role

Gastronomy Gastown is seeking a reliable and team-oriented Dishwasher to join our kitchen team. As a Dishwasher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware in a fast-paced environment.
  • Place dishes in storage areas, ensuring they are clean and dry.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Scour pots and pans to maintain their cleanliness and prevent damage.
  • Handle heavy loads and stand for extended periods, working in a dynamic kitchen environment.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Work in a fast-paced kitchen environment with repetitive tasks.
  • Handle heavy loads, up to 13.5 kg (30 lbs), and stand for extended periods.
