About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Workstation Competitive Analyst to join our team at Lenovo. As a key member of our Product Management team, you will be responsible for providing market and product insights to support business growth and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market analysis based on industry reports, such as IDC, to identify trends and opportunities.
  2. Customer Segmentation: Develop customer segmentation strategies based on targeted workstation industries to inform product development and marketing efforts.
  3. Competitor Monitoring: Continuously monitor and analyze competitor information on products, pricing, and capabilities to stay ahead of the competition.
  4. Competitive Analysis: Perform side-by-side competitive analysis of Lenovo's portfolio (platform and component level) vs. top competitors to identify areas for improvement.
  5. Collaboration: Work closely with the Product Management team to analyze competitor features, compare performance and market appeal, and recommend areas for improvement.
Deliverables
  1. Market Intelligence Reports: Provide regular market intelligence reports to stakeholders, including executive-level summaries and detailed analysis.
  2. Competitor Analysis: Develop and maintain competitor analysis reports, including product-level education and market appeal analysis.
  3. Marketing Collateral: Collaborate with marketing teams to create competitive battle cards, performance side-by-side comparisons, and datasheets to support sales and marketing efforts.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in market analytics, marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience with virtual teams and cross-functional collaboration.
