About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Engineer 3 to join our team at Williams Engineering Canada Inc. as a Technical Lead. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise to our projects, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with project managers and team leads to develop and implement project plans and strategies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, including reports, proposals, and design specifications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes to ensure that projects meet company standards.
  • Provide training and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and apply this knowledge to improve project outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
  • P.Eng. status with appropriate provincial association.
  • Minimum 4-6 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on technical leadership and project management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office 365, SharePoint, Deltek Vision, AutoCaD, and Revit MEP.
