Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Baie Ste Anne Seafoods (2014) Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of workers in our fish plant, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of 16-20 workers in various areas of responsibility.
  • Train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Recommend personnel actions such as hiring and promotions.
  • Prepare production and other reports.
  • Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
  • Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other work units.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience.
  • Knowledge of preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment.
  • Criminal record check.
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and requires attention to detail. The successful candidate must be able to work under pressure and handle heavy loads. Steel-toed safety boots and safety glasses/goggles are required.
