Production Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Production Supervisor to join our team at Baie Ste Anne Seafoods (2014) Inc.
Job Summary:The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our fish plant, ensuring that all production processes are running smoothly and efficiently. This includes supervising a team of 16-20 people, coordinating work activities, and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Supervise and coordinate the activities of workers in various areas of responsibility
- Ensure that all production processes are running smoothly and efficiently
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
- Prepare production and other reports
- Recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Knowledge of preventive maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle heavy loads
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Work in a fish plant environment
- Exposure to dust, cold, and odours
- May require overtime and shift work
