Senior Network Security Architect

NielsenIQ is a leading consumer intelligence company, delivering comprehensive insights to drive business growth. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network and Security Engineer to join our team.
Job Summary:This role will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our network security infrastructure, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data. You will work closely with our Enterprise IT, network infrastructure teams, and Governance Risk and Controls team to deploy and operate various security tools.
Key Responsibilities:- Design, implement, and maintain network security architectures to protect against emerging threats.
- Develop and deploy innovative network-based security solutions to enhance threat detection and reduce attack surfaces.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive best practices across global networks.
- Provide secondary support for endpoint software and create training materials for non-technical users.
- Drive organization-wide campaigns to promote security awareness and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Math.
- Hands-on experience with network analysis and security tools, including packet capture and analysis, firewalls, web application firewalls, and routing/switching.
- Knowledge of sophisticated hacking techniques, malicious actors, IOCs, TTPs, and the ability to translate intelligence into action.
- Scripting languages, such as PowerShell, Python, and ability to manipulate large datasets using tools like Excel, PowerBI, and SQL.
