Senior Network Security Architect

About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Network and Security Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our IT organization, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing our network security infrastructure, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and systems.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain and enhance our network security infrastructure, including firewalls, web application firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Design and implement secure network architectures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our data and systems.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members, ensuring the successful implementation of security solutions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging security threats and technologies, ensuring our network security infrastructure remains current and effective.
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in network security, with a focus on design, implementation, and maintenance of secure network architectures.
- Hands-on experience with network analysis and security tools, including packet capture and analysis, firewalls, web application firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
- Knowledge of scripting languages, such as PowerShell or Python, and experience with large dataset manipulation using tools like Excel, PowerBI, or SQL.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on delivering high-quality results under tight deadlines.
