Senior Network Security Architect

At NielsenIQ, we're committed to driving innovation and excellence in the field of network security. We're seeking a highly skilled Senior Network and Security Engineer to join our team and contribute to our mission of delivering the most complete understanding of consumer buying behavior.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and operate current network security tools to ensure their optimal performance.
- Develop and deploy innovative network-based security solutions to enhance threat detection and reduce attack surfaces.
- Collaborate with Enterprise IT, network infrastructure teams, and the Governance Risk and Controls team to deploy and operate various security tools.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve security controls and enhance threat detection.
- Develop and present training materials for non-technical users and provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members.
- Drive organization-wide campaigns to promote security best practices across global networks.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, or Math.
- Hands-on experience with network analysis and security tools, including packet capture and analysis, firewalls, web application firewalls, and routing/switching.
- Knowledge of sophisticated hacking techniques, malicious actors, IOCs, TTPs, and the ability to translate intelligence into action.
- Scripting languages, such as PowerShell and Python, and ability to manipulate large datasets using tools like Excel, PowerBI, and SQL.
