About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Showroom Sales Consultant. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and sales support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including builders, designers, contractors, and homeowners.
  • Assess customer needs and provide guidance on product selection and purchase.
  • Respond to customer inquiries with accurate pricing, inventory, and delivery information.
  • Handle special orders, requests, and issues with enthusiasm and efficiency.
  • Provide quotes and follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Examine and resolve customer issues, address short payments, and returns in a timely manner.
  • Continuously improve product knowledge and stay up-to-date on the latest trends and innovative technology.
  • Maintain product displays and literature to ensure current information is available to customers.
  • Conduct after-sales service with customers.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, clients, and suppliers in a professional and positive manner.
Requirements
  • Minimum Grade 12 education required.
  • Minimum two years' sales experience (counter sales or inside sales).
  • Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems.
  • Knowledge of plumbing products is an asset.
