Job Overview

As a Research Clinical Trials Manager, you will play a critical role in the development and management of research projects within our Clinical Trials Unit. Working closely with our Principal Investigator, you will assist in the development of new initiatives, grants, and projects, and contribute to the establishment of a comprehensive research program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Consult with the Principal Investigator and stakeholders to identify opportunities for new research initiatives and projects.
  • Assist in writing and editing documentation, including ethics applications and other study-related documents.
  • Facilitate the development and maintenance of procedures and processes for research projects, including pharmacy information manuals and data entry guidelines.
  • Manage financial resources and develop budgets for new studies.
  • Direct the activities of assigned staff and establish clear definitions of responsibility.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Health Sciences or related field, plus 5 years of research experience in the healthcare sector.
  • Certification such as ACRP or SOCRA is preferred.
  • A sound understanding of clinical trials with a specialization in oncology.
  • Extensive knowledge of scientific terminology and research methodology in the health sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal, management, coordination, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
  • Proficiency with database platforms such as RedCap.
