Job Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers promptly and professionally, setting the tone for a positive experience
  • Act as a liaison between customers and service technicians, effectively communicating repair needs and ensuring that work is completed to a high standard
  • Sell recommended services using low-pressure, high-integrity methods
  • Provide accurate estimates of repair and maintenance costs, taking into account the type of vehicle and required work
  • Maintain strong follow-up skills, keeping customers informed of progress and ensuring that all issues are resolved promptly
  • Manage extended warranties and other ancillary sales opportunities
  • Inspect repair quality to ensure that all work is completed to a high standard
  • Notify customers when their vehicles are ready for collection
  • Review repairs and associated costs with customers, explaining each item in detail
  • Handle minor customer complaints and concerns, escalating issues as necessary
  • Maintain open communication with the Service Manager, keeping them informed of any problems or potential issues
  • Monitor and maintain Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) scores, ensuring that they meet dealership standards
