Sawmill Operations Manager

Riverside Forest Products (2018) Inc. is seeking a skilled Sawmill Supervisor to oversee the efficient operation of our sawmill facilities. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring that systems and equipment are running smoothly, and that maintenance and repairs are performed in a timely manner.
Key Responsibilities:- Operational Efficiency: Ensure that all systems and equipment are operating at optimal levels, and that any issues are addressed promptly.
- Maintenance and Repairs: Coordinate and perform routine maintenance and repairs to prevent downtime and ensure continuous production.
- Work Scheduling: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Team Management: Supervise, coordinate, and schedule the activities of our team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
- Quality Control: Monitor and maintain high standards of quality in our products, identifying and addressing any issues promptly.
- Supply Chain Management: Requisition and order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed to support production.
- Training and Development: Train and develop our team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their roles effectively.
Requirements:
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Permanent employment.
- English as the primary language of communication.
- 40 hours per week.
