Sawmill Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Sawmill Supervisor to join our team at Dhaliwal Ventures Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of our sawmill, supervising a team of machine operators, and maintaining a safe working environment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise and coordinate the activities of sawmill machine operators to ensure efficient production and quality control.
- Recommend personnel actions, establish work schedules, and coordinate work activities with other departments.
- Prepare production reports and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Monitor safety conditions, train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies, and oversee the safety of operations.
- Supervise a team of 5-10 people, including sawmill machine operators.
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience.
- Excellent written communication, judgement, and organizational skills.
- Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.
