Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Early Childhood Educator to join our team as a Float Educator for our Infant & Toddler program. As a Float Educator, you will have the opportunity to work with children from birth to 3 years old, providing a nurturing and engaging environment that promotes learning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality care and education to infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical, emotional, and cognitive needs are met.
  • Develop and implement engaging and age-appropriate programs that promote learning and development.
  • Establish and maintain positive relationships with families, providing regular updates and communication.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to deliver a high-quality program that meets the needs of all children.
  • Adhere to all Child Care Licensing Regulations and YMCA Child Protection Policies.
Requirements
  • Current and valid Infant & Toddler Early Childhood Educator License to Practice.
  • Three satisfactory professional references and experience working with children in a child care or recreational setting.
  • Current Emergency Child Care First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain.
  • Satisfactory Criminal Record and Clear Vulnerable Sector Search.
  • Reliable transportation within Prince George.
