About the Role

As an Early Childhood Educator with the YMCA of Greater Vancouver, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of young children and their families. Our Early Childhood Educator position is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the community while advancing your career in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement engaging child-centered programs that promote learning and development.
  • Build strong relationships with children, families, and colleagues to create a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Collaborate with the staff team to deliver high-quality programs that meet the needs of diverse children and families.
  • Ensure compliance with Child Care Licensing Regulations and YMCA Child Protection Policies.
Qualifications
  • Current and valid Early Childhood Educator License to Practice.
  • Three satisfactory professional references and experience working with children in a child care or recreational setting.
  • Current child care First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain and Satisfactory Criminal Record and Clear Vulnerable Sector Search.
