We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Cashier at JOHN'S PAN PIZZA. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth transaction experience for our valued customers.

Job Description:

The primary responsibility of the Cashier is to operate the cash register, process transactions, and maintain a high level of accuracy with sales and returns. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, handling cash, credit, and debit card payments, as well as scanning items and receiving payment for goods and services.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate the cash register efficiently and accurately.
  • Process transactions, including cash, credit, and debit card payments.
  • Scan items and receive payment for goods and services.
  • Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales.
  • Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Accept reservations or take-out orders.
  • Wrap or place merchandise in bags.
  • Weigh produce and bulk foods.
  • Monitor all entrances and exits, requesting proof of payment when necessary.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 2 years of experience in a similar position. You must be able to work on-site, as this position requires you to be physically present at the location.

Working Conditions:

This role requires you to work in a fast-paced environment, handling cash, credit, and debit card payments, as well as scanning items and receiving payment for goods and services. You must be able to work accurately and efficiently, with a high level of attention to detail.
