About the Role

We are seeking a qualified Dietary Aide to join our team at Golden Life Management Corporation. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Count, weigh, and measure ingredients for assigned food preparation areas.
  • Portion out and serve food and beverages in the dining room, gather and replace supplies as required.
  • Load hot wagons and deliver food to resident neighborhoods.
  • Stock resident kitchens with paper products, snacks, beverages, and staple goods.
  • Prepare tables in dining areas before mealtimes, including napkins, placemats, utensils, condiments, and beverages.
  • Prepare beverages and food items, such as tea, coffee, and toast, and assemble food items like sandwiches and salads.
  • Wash, peel, and store vegetables and fruit.
  • Assist the Chef with portioning and service of meals for special and catered events.
  • Operate the dishwashing machine, stack clean dishes and utensils, set, clear, and clean dining tables.
  • Perform cleaning tasks, such as sweeping and damp mopping floors, sanitizing countertops, sinks, machines, and equipment, spot washing walls and splash areas, and removing trash.
  • Perform related clerical duties, such as answering the phone and documenting information on menu cards.
  • Meet the requirements for a vulnerable sector-criminal record check, provide a negative TB screening, and immunization records, and proof of full COVID-19 vaccinations or approved exemption.
