About the Role:

TOTEM Recruteur de talent is seeking a highly skilled Logistics Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of products through our terminals in Eastern Canada.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate logistics and procurement of products in Eastern Canada terminals.
  • Manage the fleet of railcars and empty wagons.
  • Oversee procurement and inventory management in Ontario and Chatham for petroleum products.
  • Resolve procurement issues.
  • Plan and optimize transportation methods to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Ensure product quality and implement solutions for any quality issues.
  • Develop and manage product movement schedules and ensure timely execution.
  • Be the primary point of contact for conventional railcar inquiries and work closely with the rail transportation service.
  • Analyze sales data and prepare forecasts based on product demand and logistics requirements.
  • Perform all administrative tasks, including invoicing, tracking, and more.
  • Assist in covering logistics coordinator roles in other departments as needed.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Administration, Engineering, or Logistics.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience.
  • Bilingualism in French and English (verbal and written communication).
  • Experience in the petroleum industry is an asset.
  • Strong knowledge of Excel and SAP/SAP BW is an asset.
  • Team player with initiative and leadership skills.
  • Creative problem-solving skills under pressure.
  • Analytical skills.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
