Strategic Planning Manager for Sales and Operations

Job Summary
The primary objective of this role is to improve the systems, tools, and capabilities within the organization pertaining to Sales and Operations Planning. As the Sales and Operations Planning Manager, you will lead and coordinate the sales and operations strategy across all Tri-Mach Group divisions. You will promote a positive company image through safety, quality, consistency, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare data and presentation for monthly S&OP meetings using cross-functional input, facilitating decisions around equipment, labor, and other resources needed to support demand over the S&OP planning horizon.
- Coordinate and facilitate the monthly S&OP meetings to achieve the demand plan consensus, including strategic, product development, and sales activities.
- Work with purchasing on identifying and resolving supply chain constraints/gaps.
- Develop dashboards to provide transparency and a single source of information across functional areas.
- Collaborate with Operations Managers to ensure the S&OP plan is operationalized effectively.
- Work with recruitment and HR to align on hiring needs across the organization.
- Manage S&OP activities that inform business decisions and drive improved customer service and delivery performance at the business level.
Requirements
We are looking for a candidate with:
- 5 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, scheduling, or production planning.
- A keen understanding of supply chain and labor resource planning.
- Project Management experience preferred and considered an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Proficient with MS Office applications, such as Excel and Word.
Estimated Salary: $85,000 - $110,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
