Health Careers in Sask is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at the Wascana Rehabilitation Centre in Regina.
About the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Speech Language Pathologist with a Master's degree to lead our interdisciplinary team and provide assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to children. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for promoting professional development, leadership, and job satisfaction among staff.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, diagnose, and treat children as part of our interdisciplinary team.
- Provide direction and leadership to staff speech language pathologists.
- Promote professional development and engender job satisfaction among team members.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A Master of Speech Language Pathology (SLP) degree.
- Significant experience working with young children individually and in small groups.
- Knowledge of needs of young children and social and environmental factors.
- Leadership abilities to provide direction to staff speech language pathologists.
- Registered as SALSPA.
- Preference to HSAS members as per the SAHO/HSAS Collective Agreement.
