Position Summary:
This Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse role involves providing treatment and care management services to individuals with mental illness and concurrent disorders in Community Mental Health.
Main Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the interprofessional care team to coordinate client care and provide treatment services.
- Conduct mental health assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor client progress.
- Establish and maintain therapeutic relationships with clients and their support network.
- Use strengths-based approaches to develop and implement individualized care plans.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Graduation from a recognized nursing program.
- Recent experience working with individuals with mental health and substance use issues.
- Current registration as a RN/RPN with BCCNM.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
