Job Summary

Canonical is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Project Manager to lead our Public Cloud projects and drive business growth. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously, collaborating with stakeholders, and ensuring successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management: Manage multiple projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their needs and expectations, and providing exceptional service.
  • Technical Leadership: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure projects are delivered with the highest technical quality and meet customer requirements.
  • Business Development: Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to drive growth and revenue.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including customers, team members, and senior management, to ensure project success.

Requirements

  • Proven Project Management Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in project management, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Cloud Computing Expertise: In-depth knowledge of cloud computing technologies and platforms, including public cloud services.
  • Technical Skills: Strong technical skills, including experience with project management tools, such as Asana, Jira, or MS Project.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to understand customer needs and develop strategies to drive growth and revenue.
