Job Description

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Project Director to join our team in Quebec. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for leading geotechnical projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams, ensuring that projects are executed in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Geotechnical Design: Participate in the geotechnical design of projects, including the development of geotechnical reports, designs, and specifications.
  • Project Management: Manage projects from initiation to closure, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, construction, and operations, to ensure that projects are delivered successfully.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress to stakeholders, including clients, project sponsors, and team members.
Requirements:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in geological or civil engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Minimum of 15 years of experience in geotechnical engineering, with a strong background in project management.
  • Skills: Strong technical skills in geotechnical engineering, including knowledge of geotechnical design, construction, and operations. Excellent communication and project management skills.
  • Certifications: Member of the OIQ, ASP Construction card, and valid driver's license.
