Job Description

Job Title: Enterprise Project Manager

Job Summary:

Canonical is seeking an experienced Enterprise Project Manager to lead complex projects in software engineering and information technology. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent communication skills, and experience leading cross-cultural and remote teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead diverse, remote project teams to deliver software engineering and IT projects
  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify project requirements and ensure successful project delivery
  • Manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external partners
  • Develop and implement project management processes and procedures
  • Provide project status updates and reports to stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Strong background in project management, with experience in software engineering and IT projects
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience leading cross-cultural and remote teams
  • Agile project management certification
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours when required
