Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Champion the brand's vision and values, contributing to a culture of positivity and high standards.
  • Create a warm and welcoming environment for guests and employees.
  • Uphold our standards at all times, treating everyone with courtesy and respect.
  • Proactively seat guests, communicate with the Leadership team, and prepare pre-shift notes.
  • Operate and maintain reservations systems, assign reservations, and update guest information.
  • Answer incoming calls, administer call backs, and advise colleagues of guest special occasions.
  • Relay necessary information regarding allergies and guest requests to management and the kitchen.
  • Ensure opening, closing, and weekly checklists are completed, and all areas of the restaurant are well-maintained.
  • Communicate with leadership on any need-to-know information regarding restaurant or Concierge specific needs.
Requirements
  • Fully understand and embody PLANTA's can-do attitude, demonstrating a level of passion and dedication.
  • 1-2 years' experience in a similar, fast-paced environment with similar standards.
  • Experience using reservation systems, well-spoken, and excellent communication skills.
  • Humble and relatable with a confident attitude, remaining highly detailed at all times.
  • Respectful and professional with all interactions, proactive in understanding guests' needs, and creative in finding solutions.
  • Ability to ease conflict and resolve issues, team-oriented, and capable of working in a high-stressed environment.
  • High organizational skills and ability to prioritize, professional appearance, and results-oriented.
  • Degree/Diploma in Hospitality, WSET, Prud'homme, or equivalent considered an asset.
  • Full-time flexible hours are required (days, nights, weekends, holidays) or as agreed with your hiring manager.
