As a Senior Tax Manager, you will play a key role in providing tax planning, services, and advice to our clients across various industries, including manufacturing, forestry, retail, and wholesale trades, professionals, and financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with partners, managers, or other senior staff on business tax compliance, tax provision, and tax advisory engagements.
  • Deliver high-quality tax planning, services, and advice to clients.
  • Lead special tax engagements and provide support, coaching, and professional development to firm staff with respect to tax knowledge and tax matters.
  • Prepare and present technical sessions to firm staff.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 10 years of public accounting experience with a tax specialty.
  • Canadian Professional Accounting Designation (CPA).
  • Successful completion of the CPA Canada In-Depth Tax Course or Masters of Tax Program.
  • Excellent attention to detail, interpersonal, verbal, and written communication, project management, and organizational skills.
  • High proficiency in MS Office, Caseware/Casview, TaxPrep, and tax research software.
  • Proven project management and time management skills to organize, implement, and execute projects.
  • Bilingualism in French/English is an asset.
